We began the adventure of investing in real estate in 2012.
I had a full-time job that was secure for another 1 1/2 years, but after that it was unknown. We began early to look for income opportunities down the road in case the situation arose where we needed a second source of income. In addition, we wanted a secure way to invest for the future.
We were drawn to real estate.
